Mapping Government Digital Infrastructure in Argentina
Our research paper “En Unión y Libertad: Subnational Strategies for Hosting Government Services” has been published at PAM 2026
This study presents the first empirical analysis of how Argentina’s national and subnational governments (provinces) make hosting decisions for their digital services. We analyzed approximately 1,200 government domains to understand whether government websites are hosted by sovereign servers (i.e., are government-run), domestic third-party servers, or global cloud providers.
The results of our measurements can be explored through this website.
